Granular synthesis principle applied to Chet Baker's famous ballad (by Harmen Sipkema and Eddie B.)

Together with a befriended music technology specialist we applied the principle of granular synthesis on the very sweet song of Chet Baker that talks about heart ache. The effect of this principle that cuts the music into tiny little pieces and reassembles it in another more random sequence is a song that fully derails into chaos while coming back on track in the last few bars. It is discomforting and unpleasant at times, far more in line with the feeling of loneliness than the original song.
